Month in a Minute – May 2016

We dreaded the arrival of May.

May was the month of Chris’ amputation, a month where life would change, adjustments would need to be made and a new normal would begin.

A month we were unsure whether we would get through unscathed or not.

Now, writing this, I look back with a huge weight lifted and a sigh of relief.

We made it!

Not only did we make it we did it by not letting a moment pass us by.

We saw friends, family, spent time together. The kids laughed, we laughed, we made memories.

The amputation didn’t stop us, as soon as Chris was discharged we got on with life, with living and we’re currently making the most of our time together before chemo starts again.

I didn’t think I would but I can honestly look back on May and smile, well at most of it anyway.

And now it’s time for you to take a look:

  1. Honestly you all are amazing, they way you deal with things is unreal. I need to take a leaf out of you book to smile and enjoy everyday

  2. The perfect music choice. I love how you are in most of your clips. May is done and you faced it so well, here’s to the rest of the year xx
