Gratitude

Extraordinary
In ordinary days.
Calm
In rush of everyday.

Friends
That turn to family
Family
On who you can depend

Hope
When all seems lost
Light
When darkness descends

Strength
Gained from positivity
Faith
All will be well

Time
Spent and yet to come
Memories
A lifetime full

Hugs
From tiny arms
Squeeze
Of hands held tight

Laughter
When you want to cry
Love
That will last forever

You
For saving me
Them
So we’re complete.

  2. Sorry there are 2 comments – first didn’t post then popped up when I posted the 2nd!

  3. This is so powerful and beautiful Becky. I don’t know your story but hope you’re ok. x x

  4. A beautiful poem and, like Johanne, the last verse gave me shivers. I’ve just read your last few posts – sending lots of love. xxx #theprompt
