Fixed in a now,
Much different
To the picture
Once painted of life.
Away,
From a daydream
Reoccurring,
Of return to a simpler time.
Look ahead,
Moving forward as needed
Creating distance between here and before
Unable to go back.
Uncertain
Hopeful
Anticipating colours
Not yet added
