Malc,

I’m not actually sure where I should start.

I’ll start by telling you how much we miss you.  I don’t think there’s a minute of a single day that you’re not in our thoughts.

You left such a huge hole in our lives when we lost you. We just weren’t prepared, not ready for you to leave us. It wasn’t fair. Still isn’t.

You would be so proud of Chris, Malc.  He’s grown up so much. He’s such a wonderful husband and he’s an amazing daddy to Lily.  I know he’s like this ’cause of how you influenced his life and for that I thank you.

I’m just so sorry you’re not here to see.

You would Love Lily, she’s so funny. She has us in stitches. She’s such a precious little thing, she would definitely have had you wrapped around her little finger.

We talk about you often so she will always know who her grandad Malc is.

I know you’re always near us, never far away, bringing us the sunshine. It’s a bit of a running joke.

I just wanted you to know that you’re missed so very much & loved more so, always. I’m proud to have been able to say I had you in my life.

Thank you for trusting me to look after Chris, I gave him just enough rope.
