Love the Little Things #10

It’s Friday which means it’s Little Loves day and it’s all of a sudden week 10!

Here are my little loves for this week.

Read

I am still reading The Making of Us. Mr C says I should put it down but I don’t really like to do that with a book, I like to get to the end. The only book I’ve ever put down was The Time Travellers Wife, because, well, I just could not get my head around it no matter how hard I tried! So I’m going to persevere with it for a little longer.

Watched

I’ve not watched much TV this week really, I did go to watch Mr C play rugby last weekend but when I arrived he’d been sent off, so that was a bit of a wasted trip!

Heard

This week me and the munchkin were practising her glee club songs. They’re singing 3 songs from Hairspray, one of my favourite musicals, so for a couple of days I was earwormed with this!

Made

I haven’t really made anything of note this week! I did make dentist appointments for me and the munchkin but that is about as exciting as it got!

Wore

With the sunshine coming out I wore my spring ballet pumps rather than my winter boots! Was so nice to get a bit of sunshine, although we’re back to fog and chill now!

And Lastly

On Sunday I met the lovely Wendy from Daisies and Pie, she was taking part in the Team Honk relay in my hometown so I went along to walk with her for a while. She did really well, as did/are all the other people taking part in and supporting the Team Honk Relay and it was really nice to meet her.

  1. Love love Hairspray! It’s one of our favourites – the girls and I love singing along and dancing around to it. So cool that your daughter is in a glee club, I know my eldest would love to do something like that.
Have a lovely weekend, enjoy the wedding and hen do! xx

  2. I’ve cracked my ballet pumps out too, but they may need to go back in the wardrobe for a while now as it is a bit on the cold side. I had very cold feet all day yesterday in them x

  3. I’m so glad I’m not the only one who couldn’t get their head around The Time Travellers wife. I adore the film but couldn’t work out the book. I do want to give it another go one day now I kind of understand it more x
