Love the Little Things, #23

I’m a bit late with this weeks Little Loves post! I was flying solo most of the weekend whilst Mr C was in Edinburgh. My first time as a mummy of 2. Although the baby and the munchkin were really good, being by myself was tiring!

Here it is though, my little loves, better late than never:

Read

This week I was introduced to a blog I’d never come across before. I’d put my name down to be involved in a great linky/project with Tinuke over at circusmums. It’s called You’ve Got Mail. Tinuke pairs you with another blogger, you spend some time reading their blog and getting a feel for who they are and what they like, then the best bit, you send them actual, physical post. With a stamp, that a postman delivers! This is the 1st month & I’ve been paired with Gailann, who blogs over at MummG. I’ve really enjoyed reading Gailanns’ blog. It’s a great mix of posts, photos of her 2 gorgeous kids, delicious recipes and amazing poetry that has had me going back reading over and over. Two of my favourites are My Favourite Smell and I wish I had more time, which are beautifully written. I can’t wait to read more!

Watched

We watched The Heat this week. I found it really funny, it actually made me laugh out loud. It stars Sandra Bullock and Melissa McCarthy, who I think is just fantastic! I would definitely recommend it if you want to watch something that will make you chuckle.

Heard

More of the munchkin playing this week. She plays schools a lot, her school children are a naughty bunch and there’s always someone getting in trouble! I love to hear her playing and using her imagination, there’s something rather magical about it all!

Made

The only thing I’ve really made this week is a chicken lasagne for our tea on Sunday. We ate it outside in the garden as it was a lovely evening and it was yummy.

Wore

I’m still in dresses! They’re comfy and the weather has been lovely so it’s ok!

And Lastly

The froglet put on weight again this week which means we could be discharged from special baby care. I was really pleased and my little man has come a long way already!
