Beginnings

‘Begin at the beginning.’

To reassess. To rejuvenate.

To make resolutions. If that’s your thing.

To rethink, retrain, restart, refresh.

To start. To be born.

To continue. Being.

Beginning.

To try new things, try less things, try all things.

To travel, to stay at home, to be alone, to be included.

To breathe, enjoy, take it all in, be scared, be excited, to make memories,

To Live, take risks, play it safe, experience.

To feel, to empathise. To commiserate, to celebrate.

Beginnings.

To Laugh, joke, be silly.

To be happy.

To cry, feel sorrow, to grieve.

To be kind, respect, care. To be considerate to neighbours, fellow-man, strangers.

To Love. To love most friends and family.

To Love with your whole heart.

Beginnings.

‘Go on until you get to the end:
then stop.’

  1. Love the positivity here, Bec, and the last line makes it for me. We have so much negativity going on right now that we have to keep pushing and starting over. x

    1. Thank you. I’m a big believer in pushing ourselves to make changes whenever we need if it adds to our lives and makes us all a little bit happier x

  2. Beautifully written; positive and thoughtful. To try new things, less things, all things – love that! You’ve managed to capture so many thoughts that run through our minds when we think of starting afresh or trying something new. Thank you so much for sharing with #ThePrompt x

    1. Thank you Sara, I’m a big believer in making changes and starting things at any time but this time of year certainly brings making changes to the forefront of our thoughts xx
