So here I am, back again, ready to start another year in pictures. I’ll be honest, I didn’t do too well last year and gave up. I wasn’t getting up too much and my photos all started to get a bit samey. There’s only so many times you can write ‘had a pottering, doing nothing day.’ I don’t envisage me doing anything different this year but I’m going to make a change with regards to taking a photograph to share. If I do have a do nothing day, most days, then I will look to take pictures of things that are unusual, interesting, funny or that I see doing the routine school and work (when I go back – Eek!) run, so I’m kind of sharing where I live and the things around me. I’m also going to change to way I present the pics, so instead of writing a full-blown sentence explaining the photo I’m just going to give it a title.
So I’m back, hopefully the little changes I’ve made will help to get me all the way through the year. Here’s my 1st week (3 days) in pictures:
1st – Super Kids
2nd – Wicked Brew
3rd – Goodbye Decorations
To be honest I was glad to see my decorations put away. lol
Me too! It too a lot of will power to not take them down on Boxing Day 🙂
Fab photos! Good luck with this year x
Thank you! I’m hoping to do better this year x
well this is what is so great about this project – it is adaptable to suit you and yours, something on the school run, something different in the house, the children doing something that makes you laugh/cry/despair/proud, they are all memories and memories are what make life and a blog. I felt that way when starting year 2 – sharing something I had not shared in year 1, but now into year 4 and still find different things to take pictures off.
Thank you, I’m hoping to put less pressure on myself this year, I think it will help me get to the end x
Love the smile on her face – lovely!
She has a fab smile! I think her brother is going to follow in her footsteps x
Good luck completing this year. I think the changes you have made sound great and I am sure it will make it much easier for you to carry on.
I think so too! I’m going to put less pressure on myself this year which will hopefully help me get to the end! Fingers crossed x
I flipping hate packing away Christmas, it feels so dreary without the magic and sparkle.
Thanks for linking up to Project 365 and good luck for the year ahead; there is a new linky live now.
I do too! It makes me want to decorate which drives my husband mad!
Cuties! 😀 #project365
