I wasn’t sure if I’d make this post this week. It’s been pretty stressful and my mind has been elsewhere. I won’t go on about what went on here, I did write a post about it earlier this week.
Looking though my phone I realised that I had managed to get at least a snap shot every day. This week they aren’t the greatest of quality but with things a bit more settled now, I’ll be back to finding my photo a day ready for next week!
Day 33
Sunday found me and the munchkin doing some colouring in. I’m working hard at not saying No to things she asks, the housework can wait most of the time!
Day 34
Monday I started to read this book, Mums on Strike by Laura Kemp, which I found really funny. This day also saw me back for a scan as at my anomaly scan they couldn’t confirm they had seen babys stomach. Monday was a pretty stressful and upsetting day to be honest and the start of the worry which would last nearly all week!
Day 35
Tuesday I found it really difficult to concentrate on anything really. I was awake so early I managed a brew at home before work.
Day 36
Sensing that mummy wasn’t that happy, the munchkin tried to cheer me up by attempting some card tricks. They were awful but it did make me smile.
Day 37
Thursday was a much easier day after another more positive scan with a specialist! These 2 had cuddles on the sofa.
Day 38
Friday was Mr Cs birthday. We went out for a lovely tea. As I hadn’t had chance to get out to the shop so I quickly ordered cards from Moonpig and I’m so glad that I did! Mr C was so pleased with his cards, this one was his favourite and I’m pretty pleased he liked it. It has some of my favourite photos of the 2 of them together last year!
Day 39
My good friend sent the munchkin some post! A little card and a very pretty ladybird coin purse. She loved it and she was even more excited when she realised there was a pound coin in the purse!
Hopefully next week my pictures will be a bit more interesting!
Why not pop over to see what other pictures people have been taking this week!
i am liking the sound of that ‘mums on strike’ !
It’s a good book! I’m not very organised at home normally but have found myself trying this week! Which I think goes against the meaning of the book! š
I’m glad things were a little easier by the end of the week, Happy Birthday Mr C and what a happy daughter you have x
Thank you! She is very happy, means we must be doing something right š
Sounds like it was a bit of a stressful week, I hope you’re alright. Nice to see you had some laughter and a birthday to cheer you up – colouring is always a winner too š
The week got better towards the end of the week and feeling much better now! I had forgotten how much I like colouring in, I had to stop myself taking over!
Sorry you had a tough week. I hope Mr C had a good birthday and I defiantly love the idea of being a mum on strike hope the book was good! xx
I really liked the book and would definitely recommend it! xx
I love that last photo – it’s gorgeous. What a smiley soul š
She has a fantastic smile! Reminds me I must be doing something right! š
I’m glad you’re week turned around! Such a lovely smile by your daughter in the last photo – you captured her joy perfectly.
The week definitely got better towards the end of the week. She was very excited about her post
