Love the Little Things #6

It’s been a much better week this week.

Here are my little loves.

This week I’ve been reading Paper Aeroplanes by Dawn O’Porter, I’m not sure I enjoyed it as much as some other books I’ve read but it was an easy read and did make me chuckle in parts.

We have still been watching the Wire, we have just watched the last series in four. I’m not sure it’ll take long before we start watching the next series.

I’ve been pretty much ear wormed with the new Lily Allen song Air Balloon. I like Lily Allen songs and this one is really catchy!

I’ve been making a lot of potato based meals this week. We had a big bag of spuds that needed using up. We’re really trying not to waste the stuff we buy, I’m really guilty of this and it’s such a waste of money. This week I’ve made Shepherds Pie, Potato and Ham Soup and mushroom and potato curry. I’ll be honest I’ve surprised myself with all of these dishes, that a) I could be bothered actually making them all from scratch and b) how nice and edible they actually were!

Still wearing whatever fits, I wore another dress I had ordered from asos. I was actually thinking of sending it back but glad I’ve kept it and wore it now. The pattern is really pretty and I actually got quite a few compliments when I wore it, which is enough to boost anyones confidence.

And Lastly

Super proud of the munchkin, who got star of the week last Friday for her maths work and she’s done really well with her reading this week. She was getting behind so we’ve been working really hard on her enjoying reading and giving her a little incentive for trying hard!

These are my Little Loves this week!

Why not pop over and see what everyone else is loving this week
