Love the Little Things #7

Friday is Love the Little Things Day! It always signals the beginning of the weekend for me!

Here are my Little Loves for this week:

Read

I’ve been reading lots of blogs this week and I’m pleased to say I’ve found some new blogs I hadn’t seen before that I really enjoyed. Ā I can’t wait to read more from them! I’ve not had chance to read any of the next book I have, which is another library book, I’m hoping to make a start on that over the weekend!

Watched

As well as the usual weekly programs I skyplus so I can avoid adverts and films the munchkin has wanted to watch this week, I got the opportunity to watch About Time. I really wouldn’t have watched this if Morgana hadn’t mentioned it as one of her Little Loves a couple of weeks ago but I can honestly say that I loved it! It’s such a warm film, I must admit there were a couple of tears in parts, I’m very emotional at the moment. The overall story was such a happy one! I would definitely recommend a watch of this film if you get the chance!

Heard

I’ve not had much opportunity for radio or really listening to music this week so I have picked a song from About Time. How Long Will I Love you, made popular recently by Ellie Goulding. After some research it’s actually quite an old song, well when I say old it was first released in 1990 by the Waterboys. The version in the film is just beautiful and I actually prefer it to the others!

Made

Ok, bear with me on this! Apart from the cakes I have planned to make today I haven’t actually made anything of note. I have however made a start on decluttering! I spent some time yesterday sorting out my clothes to either ebay or take to the charity shop! Still a long way to go but a start has been made!

Wore

The munchkin wanted to go swimming this week, I haven’t been swimming since the bump popped so had to go out and treat myself to a new swim costume! I finally found one I liked and wore it this week!

And Lastly

I have had a brilliant week off work for half term with the munchkin! I have really enjoyed her company and we have had lots of fun together! I will be sad to go back to the normal routine of work and school next week!
